Jin has a cheerful and up-beat personality and a laid-back and easy-going way to go about thing, his has compered himself to a cool breeze and a horrible hurricane. Jin displays throughout his life and career two very distinct personalities. Initially, Jin usually exaggerates foolish characteristics to make people feel unthreatened and to hide his true feeling, as well as using these outrageous actions and chronic kindness as a way to mask his own pain as noticed by those close to him. He exhibits an almost obsessive love of doughnuts, occasionally engages in lecherous behavior, plays games with the local children and aids and befriends the adults, as well as making the occasional bizarre joke or quip influenced by his love of the hippie culture. He tells that a person shouldn’t bring outside hostilities and anger into a fight or life, and that they should enjoy themselves, especially when they are battling for their lives. He frequently voices the philosophy, "This world is made of love and peace," which is usually complemented by his flashing of the Peace sign, much to the confusion of friends and acquaintances and the chagrin of his enemies. Jin's other side is an utterly tormented and lonely being, and is rarely shown when he is in the company of others. Due to his long life as well as the legendary and infamous reputation of his people, Jin has lost both a great many friends and his only family. In several instances people, he trusted have either betrayed him or been killed for simply knowing him with the only exception being Jun. Despite his sunny pacifist disposition, or perhaps because of it, Jin is an incredibly talented fighter who throws himself whole-heartedly into a fight. He is friends with many lieutenants especially his childhood friend Jun Chikuma who he has a secret crush on, he calls her little Jun-o and is considered one of the Shinigami Women's Association voted him as one of the sexiest men in the soul society. His relationship with his other team members is relatively normal the girls adore him and the boys respect him.  he usually reading erotic manga in his spare time or napping in the division 5 garden. Jin believes in respect and maintaining the peace and love, quick to uphold those standards when no one else will. his has a huge interest in the hippie culture, though he doesn’t follow it to a tee. Despite his comparatively friendly attitude, Jin is a rather brutal and merciless fighter, not letting his opponents make a move against him and using his Shikai's special ability mixed with his Kidō and Shunpo skill.

Appearance
Jin looks similar to an elf and a sprite, and long, pointed ears which wiggle when he is excited or aroused. He also has an overbite, with a canine tooth on his left side resting on his lower lip. He has thick, shoulder-length, ash gray hair in the dreadlock hairstyle and blue eyes. Jin is a tall and lean-built man with two tattoos; one the peace symbol on his chest where his heart is and the words peace and love around his belly button. He wears a Shinigami uniform that he has heavily modified to a look like the attire of the hippies of the 1960's and 1970's. his top looks like a hippie tunic shirt, he wears a slimmer version of the uniform pants and the standard footwear.  beside his altered attire Jin has a few accessories as well, he wears John Lennon style sunglasses on his face and his lieutenant badge is around his neck like a necklace.


History
Jin is known by many to not be like any of the other Shinigami in the soul society for one he is an elf or of elven descent and like Most elves Jin speaks Elder Speech, the traditional language of his race. But unlike almost all elves, Jin learned Common Speech, since his family travels to the city and he would speak with dwelling elves and humans in common tongue, specking it just as well as any other human.  Even those Jin and his family would visit and conduct business in the city on a normal basis like many elves Jin lived in magnificent town with the nobles of their lands living in lavish palaces is was before the arrival of humans to the continent, and many modern human cities was built on the ground of destroyed elven cities the same elves that were once capable of making great cities and palaces out of stone, but they did not make castles or fortresses. However, many are destroyed or occupied and altered by humans. Many elves and half elves have managed to integrate into human society but are still faced with prejudice on a day-to-day basis.  Something Jin faced every waking moment of his live.  Despite the prejudice of man Jin and his kin found ways to survive in this world of man. Many elven clans in the North have a tradition of hunting and gathering, as elves in the region Jin was from were unfamiliar with agriculture and concepts such as crop rotation. The elven culture places much emphasis on naturalism and living in harmony with the land, rather than bending it to one's will. Urban elves tend to be very scholarly or artistic, but can take up a variety of professions just like humans. Rural elves that do not live amongst humans live a somewhat simpler lifestyle, hunting, gathering, and living off the land as needed. In battle, elven warriors favor bows and metal swords, as well as light armor made out of furs and hides. They tend to be skilled at sword fighting from horseback, skills Jin remembers to this day.


During his childhood in the world of the living Jin’s was a member to a lower elven house his mother a well-known elven healer, astrologist and oracle. She had a gift for divination and prophecies of wars and major conflict. Her prophecy has been observed to have correctly predicted a number of things, such as the Northern wars and a number of plagues. A descendent of a line of legendary elven healers, astrologists and diviners.  All famous for their predictions, divinations and prophesies of which the most famous remain in the great archives in the capital. Today, in the soul society Jin’s mother is considered as a legendary figure by a number of researchers, and her “prophesies” as contemporary apocrypha cobbled together from bits and pieces, an ingenious literary fraud. Jin’s father infamously known as the " Wolf of the north", was the leader of an elite elven guard known in the common tongue as the Sliversmiths (because of the sliver forging hammers the guard would carry), and one of the most experienced members of the royal council. He was a key player in the events and battles. As a child Jin was face with the pure duality of his mother and father. With his mother a peaceful woman. With her loving nurture and philosophy affected Jin so thoroughly that he continues to live by her teachings long after her untimely death while is father was a warmongering and xenophobic that held a deep seeded hatred for anyone that wasn’t an elf. This bought a rift between his father and uncle as the king Jin’s uncle was for peace with man and that Jin’s uncle was a dark elf, while Jin’s father was willing to go to war with man and mistrusted the dark elves. The only ones that could was Jin’s aunt and mother who is able to tame their fury. When the king allowed Jin’s family to live in the palace with the king where Jin meet his cousin Lythules. The two seem became very close friends, spend every waking moment they was together.  For a time, all was well until the worst thing happened.
The crimson festival was a massacre that happened after peace talks with the lords of the realms and the elves that aid in the aura all arranged by Jin’s father and the captain of the guard of the human lords. Unbeknownst to most, however, is the fact that the true mastermind of the crimson festival was Jin’s father, who conspired with a lord and member of his silversmith guard to betray the king in return for the termination of the human loving king his subjects and the lords of men that arrived. The massacre killed all that attended the festival including Jin and his mother.
Jin was still a child when he awoke in the soul society as always as the rest of his race that die. It took the Jin and the rest of his people soon adjusted to live in the soul society and gain a reputation as phenomenal healers and top notch kido users creating kido spell that only the elves knew. Jin was the childhood friend of Jun Chikuma, Kagura Ginza, and Alatea as they always play together. Jin was taught how to be an elves warrior by his father and uncle but was more like his mother in the way he looked for peace.  After his time in the academy Jin traveled to the world of the living he met a group of hippies that taught him the culture and ways by the leader of the hippie group and man named Roshi. Jin loved all of it and soon dressed as one of the hippies under Roshi’s guilds and philosophy Jin started to became more active in the politic side of the soul society and promote peace with the rest of the world almost going to division 9 but was placed in division 5 for his impressive kido skills.  Making lieutenant faster than anyone in the history of the gotei 13.

Kidō tags: These tags are strips of paper that infused Kidō. Jin uses them as a base to aid in Kidō spells.  Each tag with a different symbol for different Kidō spell.


Abilities

¤Zanjutsu Expert/ Master Swordsman-   While a pacifist at heart and preferring Kidō as his primary combat style, Jin does indeed engage in sword combat when the moment arises. Being a former lieutenant in a formalized military, he was trained in swordsmanship. Jun has pointed out during their sparring matches, that placing him in a position to engage in sword combat is akin to not actually fighting; he remains noticeably uncomfortable at the prospect of having to engage in sword play.


Jōshō senpū (上昇旋風 Rising Whirlwind): Jin swings his sword about his body, creating a brilliant whirlwind.

Burēdo o watasu (ブレードを渡す Pass the Blade): Jin disarms his blade as he attacks, bypassing the opponent's block before igniting it into the hapless foe.
Anbaransuburokku (アンバランスブロック Unbalancing Block): Jin caught the opponent's blade with his own before momentarily thrusting forward, causing the opponent to stumble and leave himself open.

¤Hakuda Expert- Jin is skilled in Hakuda; to the point that he can briefly match all but the best in the soul society for a short time unarmed. He specializes in powerful, bone-shattering kicks and chops.

¤ Shunpo Exert:  Not being naturally fast, Jin has resorted in learning Shunpo for personal means. He never liked being left behind, and for survival means he understood the necessity of learning Shunpo. Other Hohō techniques where discarded by him, since he was not interested in them except for the sole ability of Shunpo. Mastering the technique to the best of his capabilities, Jin can now keep up with most relatively fast opponents. If he does feel like keeping up with the flash steps, he can go on until his Reiryoku source is completely depleted, and he can reach far distances with each step


Kidō Master: As the lieutenant of the Kidō Corps, Jin is a powerful Kidō master. He is particularly skilled in Bakudō and is able to use Bakudō #99 Kin, fully controlling it without an incantation, though it tires him out when he exerts such high-level spiritual energy. Jin is a master of the Elven Way. One of his less-seen skill; he specializes in Hadō; and seems to prefer using nature and wind-type Kidō—as befitting his element. Jin was able to decapitates several Gillian Menos with his Standing Ovation spell.

Sutandingu Obēshon (スタンディング・オベーション, Standing Ovation) is a Kidō spell, Jin snaps his fingers with hands several times, Jin creates a blue, cuboid barrier around the head of his opponent. Bringing the palms of his/her hands together, Jin emits a shockwave of Reiatsu from them. When the wave hits his opponent, the barrier turns red before falling away, decapitating the victim in the process. This technique can be used against multiple opponents at once.

Bakudō # 1. Sai (塞, Restrain): is a Kidō spell. Jin points his index and middle fingers at the intended target(s), causing the target's arms to lock behind their back. The spell is usable on a single target or a significantly large group of people

Bakudō #62. Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred Steps Fence; Viz "Hundred Step Balustrade"): This Kidō spell, generating a blue-white glowing rod of energy in his hand, Jin throws it at the intended target. It multiplies into a hundred more rods, which rain down on the target and pin him or her against a solid surface, completely immobilizing them. It is hard to dodge in a small area. Alternatively, Jin can generate the rods around their body and propel them at their opponent with a simple hand gesture.

Bakudō #8. Seki (斥, repulse; Viz "Repulsion"): Jin generates an orb of light blue energy which repels whatever strikes it.

Kaidō (回道, Turn Way): Jin is shown to have some proficiency in healing Kidō.
Bakudō #99, Part 1. Kin (禁, Prohibition; Viz "Forbid"): Jin holds his palms away from himself, with his hand extended out to the sides, before clasping his hands together, with the fingers intertwined intricately, causing their target's arms to be bound to their back with spiritual fabric and iron shafts. A far stronger version which, in addition to binding its target's arms to their back, wraps the spiritual fabric around their entire body and continues to pin the target, with the spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target, with several iron shafts in the shape of an X.

◾Kidō Creation: After being  in the Soul Society for so long, Jin refined his Kidō skills further to create new spells including alternate types of spells unknown to any other Shinigami. He is frequently tasked with creating various barriers and binding spells that not only conceal, but are capable of hiding Reiatsu. One example of these hybrid spells he invents spell that are unique, original, and of his own design and cannot be dispelled by standard Shinigami Kidō.

Chishō Sokubaku (束縛致傷, Infliction Shackles): A high-level Bakudō spell that was derived from Jin. He plants this spell by touching an object or person. Should his target come into contact with the object or person this spell is implanted on, chains will begin to emerge and ensnare the target. These chains also have the effect of disturbing one's reiryoku, making it incredibly difficult to form techniques or attacks that use spiritual energy. Furthermore, they cause a great deal of pain.

Banbutsu Junpō (万物順法, All Creation Obeying the Law): Jin gathers a large amount of reishi from the surrounding area to fuel and maintain the spell, Jin will then unleash nature (mainly wind) itself upon his foe. During his fight with the arrancar Pol Walker, he used this technique to generate a tremendous wave of sand (since Hueco Mundo was both made entirely of spirit particles and sand) and bring it crashing down on his foe. He could also manipulate the sand beneath his foe, creating a top-down, bottom-up situation.

Naten Fūin (七点封印, Seven-Point Seal): A seal formula, consisting of seven points arranged around a spiraling mark, as well as formula markings, appear on Jin's palm and down his arm. Small flames of reishi will then light up on each of Jin's fingers, allowing him to strengthen or weaken any Kidō he comes into contact with up to seven-times its current strength. He primarily uses this to strengthen or weaken other sealing-type Kidō, however, it has its uses against Hadō and Bakudō spells.

Uchitamotsu (内保つ, to keep within): This Kidō that Jin developed works differently than one would expect. Its primary function is to trap the electrical impulses caused by wind along nerve synapses within the nerves themselves, making the energy unavailable to someone with the ability to manipulate energy. Additionally, the method of how the energy is contained is on a constant flux. This is a technique that Jin learned from his elders in his clan

Bunsan (分散, Disperse): Jin has very great proficiency in the use of Bakudo no. 8: Seki that he is able to modify the spell into his own special Bakudo spell, called Bunsan. The technique allows Jin to temporarily and completely remove gravity's hold on the target, causing it to be sent skyward according to the trajectory of the repulsion from Seki. Gravity's influence will instantly return after a few seconds. Akimoto has also modified Bunsan even further by removing a chosen amount gravity's influence. By keeping heavy objects at a lighter weight, Jin can make up for his somewhat average Reiryoku and can also handle the weights of his weapons.

Time-Space Barriers: He is also highly skilled in a form of Kidō-based healing similar to Hagire own abilities, that he calls "Time-Space Regression" (時空退行, Jikū Taikō), reminiscent of the healing ability of Hagire’s zanpakuto he used this skill to restore the completely destroyed body, where even high ranking officers in division 4 had failed. He is also capable of using barriers as offensive weapons to devastating effect. One example of this is the ability to transfer an object directly into matter using a barrier as a catalyst. In his battle with Pol Walker, Jin stopped the assault with his barrier and transferred it into the arrancar into an oncoming attack.  Although his power has great destructive potential, Jin maintains that his abilities are not meant for combat.

Bakudō #63. Sajō Sabaku (鎖条鎖縛, Locking Bondage Stripes; Viz "Ethereal Binding Chain"): Jin raising his palm up to the target, the practitioner closes his hand into a fist and calls forth yellow energy, taking a form of very thick rope, which binds the upper body of the target. According to Jin, physical strength alone should not be enough to break out of this. However, if the target is strong enough they can freed themselves from this Kidō.

Bakudō #75. Gochūtekkan (五柱鉄貫, Five-Pillared Iron Weights; Viz "Five Iron Pillar Penetration") As Jin clasps their hands together, five small yellow orbs with skinny tails emerge from between his clasped hands and move above Jin's head before forming a circle of five. Raising their clasped hands above his head, Jin slams them downward, sending the orbs into the ground. As a bright light is generated in the sky above the intended target, five tall and thick pillars, which are connected to each other by chains, pin the target to the ground.

Highly Perceptive Combatant: Jin is very observant of his opponents' abilities and powers, even going as far as to use it against them.

¤Vast Reiatsu- : Jin excels in Kidō which requires considerable reserves of spiritual power as well as control over that power in order to properly cast spells.
¤Enhanced Strength: Despite being a pacifist, Jin possesses enough physical strength to engage Jubei wielding his Shikai in a contest of strength between the Jubei’s wild nature and Jin’s lean build and fends off the attack as well. Even nearly matching Jubei blow for blow.

Enhanced Endurance: Jin's endurance and stamina are as such that he can remain conscious and alive after infecting himself with a great deal of poisons from Pol Walker. when most others would otherwise be incapacitated or outright killed from the poison infection. He even took little time to rest after being poisoned and cure. He was also able to keep up with his captain and other captains on foot and run under such speeds for long periods of times.

Enhanced Durability: Jin has incredible durability and pain tolerance for an elf. Despite suffering damage, Jin has been able to tolerate pain in order to assist his friends to defeat their enemies. Perhaps the greatest pain tolerance that Jin has demonstrated when using his Wind Tunnel is when he willingly endured  a great deal of poison to the point that it  caused  his face to bleed in an attempt to kill Pol Walker

Zanpakuto Name: Sutomubureu (Storm breaker)



Zanpakuto Design:  Sutomubureu sealed form is a katana with a guard in the shape of a small pair of wings. He keeps it diagonally behind his lower back



Zanpakuto Spirit & World:  Sutomubureu takes the form of a Sylph with long thin eyelashes, and blonde hair that reaches her neck. She wears a single white one-piece sleeveless dress which is tied together with a butterfly knot at the back. She resembles a human child and shorter the Jin. Jin’s inner world that Sutomubureu lives is a massive forest, Sutomubureu choose to live in the Sacred Tree, a large tree which lies in the center of the forest, the surrounded by a barrier that can be manipulated in order to keep out certain individuals out. The trees and plants dance in the winds that howl all the time while Jin is around.


Zanpakuto personality: Sutomubureu is a kind, caring and forgiving girl, who cares deeply for Jin and is willing to forgive him for acting up in her world, but is slightly disappointed and unhappy that he continues.  Sutomubureu came to distrust people, but soon came to trust Jin, Sutomubureu becomes bashful and embarrassed easily when she is involving in embarrassing situation.  Sutomubureu dose have darker and is hostile to anyone who's near her regardless if they're friend or foe. Though, when  she  leave alone she eventually returns to her innocent, kind-hearted nature.


Shikai Design: Jin will hold his zanpakuto like to a guitar and whispers “blow Sutomubureu.” His zanpakuto becomes a fusion of a ryūteki (龍笛, literally "dragon flute") is a Japanese transverse flute made of bamboo and a spiraled lance with air holes for air flow.


Shikai Ability: Jin’s zanpakuto can create, shape and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes. Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge.
Jin usage of his abilities involves the formation of twisters, most of them medium sized, but very strong, with his most powerful being one whose size and magnitude resembles an actual tornado. His winds are sharp enough to tear through clothes and rock to pieces like paper.

Raijingu Torunēd (ライジングトルネード Rising Tornado): A signature technique of Jin’s that allows him to create powerful tornadoes around an opponent.  The force of the winds is strong enough to tear a target's limbs from their body. He was first shown using this technique to lift his opponent into the air by firing off the tornadoes in a volley of punches after forming them around his arms.

Wāru Shokku(ワール・ショック Whirl Shock): Jin gathers the air around him and forms it into a formidable, disc-like whirlwind with the appearance of a tornado that has been flattened and turned on its side.  In addition to firing the disc directly into an opponent, the razor-sharp winds can be used to cut through object or, if pierced with Jin's lance, created from within to rupture the opponent's body.

Saikuronbakkurasshu (サイクロンバックラッシュ cyclone backlash): After digging his hands into the ground to avoid being blown away, the wind around Jin begins to gather and forms into an enormous cyclone. Jin calls this his "strongest storm", as the winds are so powerful any who dare resist them would be torn apart by the centrifugal force. Breathing becomes difficult inside the cyclone and debris is sucked into it, further increasing its destructiveness

Bureikusurū (貫突ブレイクスルー Breakthrough): Jin concentrates his power into a single point at the tip of his weapon, forming a condensed wind sphere that he can fire to pierce through an opponent. The technique was developed during Jin's time at the training ground of division 5 against his captain and utilizes a sword stance he learnt from his father during his childhood.

Tenpesutoshīrudo (テンペストシールド Tempest shield): Jin puts his arms in an "X" pattern in front of himself, manipulating wind to spin around him until he is covered by an armor of wind. This armor does not only increase his defenses, but also augments his destructive power. This armor of wind constantly blows wind inside out. A secondary form of the technique Jin summons wind around him to form a Tornado to protect him from kido or any other attack. While using this ability, Jin can create barriers from the wind that can protect himself from powerful attacks from opponents. While it is a strong defense, the barriers can be penetrated by potent, relentless attacks.

Kaze no dansu (風のダンス Wind Dance): this technique is used in combat, Jin chants an incantation before waving his hand in the direction of his opponent. Doing so allows him to summon strong tornadoes that engulf the target and can lift them off the ground to disable them.

Kaze no ejji (風のエッジ Wind Light Edge): Jin use the Wind Manipulation can discharge slim, concentrated blasts of wind. The blasts are powerful enough to nullify other incoming powerful attacks, resulting in explosions that can cause large craters.

Raitoninguburēdo (ライトニングブレード Lightning Blade): Jin use his ability to manipulate the wind and air around it. It can gather static electricity in the surrounding atmosphere and can use his lance to condense it into a blade of lightning. In this form it can shoot off blasts of electricity that can move at the speed of lightning. The cutting power of the blade also increases and is able to fight on par with his captain’s zanpakuto

Rairyū no Shiro (合技 雷竜の城ドラゴンキャッスル Dragon Castle): Jin uses his Kaze no ejji technique to engulf a target in lightning as he forms a savage tornado with his Raijingu Torunēd technique. The union of their attacks creates a devastatingly powerful black tornado that leaves a ruinous trail in its wake.
